Raz de la Torre (from the Philippines) I recently went on a trip to Goreme this November 2010 with my friend Laida. It was winter but our one-night stay in Göreme made it very warm. Our room in the hotel was a quaint, authentic, natural stone room - very lovely and comfortable indeed. We were even asked to choose which room we preferred. The view from the hotel\'s balcony was sublime, and the hotel itself is only a walking distance to the village centre.
Many things have been said about the staff, but I really can\'t write about Güven Cave Hotel without saying something about it myself. Although it is a very lean staff, they are indeed very hospitable, pleasant and kind. They take every opportunity to interact with you and would help you in every way possible. The owner and host of the hotel, Mustafa, is very charming and generous. He not only helped us make the most out of our very short stay, he even drove us to grab a doner kebaps then dropped us off the Open Air Museum himself, on his way to visiting the doctor with his wife no less!
If the place is not enough to satisfy your stay in Goreme, then the staff will definitely make you appreciate it most. (Mustafa\'s wife was pregnant with their first child at the time, while their dog was sick. I hope they are all fine and healthy and I pray they will always be well).
I hope to return to Cappadocia, and when I do, I will surely stay in Güven again. |

Marco Lanzavecchia I never book my accomodations in advance and the choice to stay in Guven Cave Hotel was, as usual, absolutely random. Well! we was lucky. It was comfortable, clean, with good food and nice crew. We got a cave big room with 4 beds for all my family. It was really fresh and comfortable. Staying on the terrace was really a dream and we all send a big hello to Mustafa. |

Aydelu This is the nicest place we\'ve stayed in while in Turkey (cave room with ensuite)!
Mustafa was also the best host.
He was always checking to see if everything was alright and giving extra help/services (pick up/drop off, late breakfast, bookings/recommendation)

SaltatempoNapoli We found the hotel thanks to local people, so we arrived without any reservations. The staff of the hotel was from the first moment very helpful and kind, they gave us a room on the terrace, with a beautiful view of the Goreme valley. The brekfast is included in the price of the room, and is full of typical turkish products and some international food, very tasty. What surprised me was the disposability of the staff, ready to listen and give advice for the best place to visit in Capadokya. Definitly I will go there again if I come back to Goreme. Really, I cannot find any fault in the hotel. The price are also quite cheap, and the position is perfect.

Laura Kepreotis Mustafa and Co. make every effort to ensure you have a great time in Goreme. From the moment we got to the otogar to the moment we left, we experienced genuine Turkish hospitality. The rooms are clean, quiet and cosy. The beds are incredibly comfy and the water runs hot! The real difference between Guvan Cave Hotel and others in Goreme is that the staff go way beyond the call of duty - from helping us with organising tours to letting us hang around until we were ready to catch our bus to Istanbul. No complaints. We had a wonderful time. Senin misafirperverliği için teşekkür ederiz. Geri yakında olacak! |

Debra Goldman ( Mar 31, 2010 ) This has been the highlight of my time in Turkey!
As soon as I stood on the balcony of my room (with sweeping views of the fairy chimneys) I knew that this was the perfect spot! Not only was it clean. peaceful, quiet and cute, the staff was so friendly! The breakfast was great and I especially loved the common area upstairs. They even let us use their kitchen space to celebrate Passover! This is the place to stay and I hope to come back!

Larysa Henry The service was impeccable. We were greeted at the bus stop with tea and coffee and shuttled up to the hostel moments later. The host of the hostel kindly welcomed us with a warm heart. Our room was exactly what we had booked, clean, private, and warm. He brought us to the common room to give us some advice about the area and welcomed us with a glass of locally brewed wine. He spent an hour informing us of the various tours, shuttles, and activities we could partake in. After we decided what we were going to do, he booked all of the services for us.
Guven Cave Hostel is located about a 3-minute walk from the main strip downtown. The cave is situated (on the west facing side of the village of Goreme.) The spectacular view of chimneys and cave home makes this the perfect place to watch the sun set. There are plenty of common areas inside and out with free wifi to use at your discretion.
By far the service is what made this a superior location. Having the host drive us up a mountain to watch the sun set over the small village was an unforgettable moment. He went above and beyond his duties to ensure our experience here was superb. The warm water and private bathroom was also a breath of fresh air after long days of touring around the area. Breakfast is served every morning with smiling service yet again. We have absolutely no complaints.
